It’s the collaboration of the year 2023. Two iconic French brands with unique know-how have joined forces. Each has made the best of France shine on the international stage in their field of expertise. To commemorate 100 years of the 24 Hours of Le Mans on 10th and 11th June, the famous endurance sports car race and S.T. Dupont, which celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2022, have come together to design a rich, modern and innovative range. A historic event and an exceptional collection. S.T. Dupont and the 24 Hours of Le Mans have created four different lines with a special small leather item to mark the occasion.
The Prestige collection is inspired by icons of the Le Mans circuit (the trophy, helmet, kerb colours, etc.). As a decorative addition, the brand S.T. Dupont has designed a Dupont racing car. It includes luxury and Maison-style elements as well as those from the world of cars (stripes on the car, number, sponsors, etc.). The choice of the blue lacquer applied and yellow gold finishes are a homage to the circuit colours (stripes and kerbs on the track) but also the day and night symbol for this 24-hour race. The number 8 featured in different spots on the box is a good luck charm and a reference to the address of the Maison’s first Parisian boutique at 8 rue Dieu. The pen’s stand resembles the standard 24 Hours of Le Mans trophy. The XL multifunction pen revisits numerous motorsport elements, as the guilloche work inspired by automotive gear attests. The golden keyring is shaped like a helmet.
With 288 numbered pieces available, the limited-edition writing set is presented in a remarkable blue and gold lacquer box. It contains an XL multifunction pen and a keyring.
